Hema performs various data analyses to support strategic decision making. For example, it cross-checks the donor's zip code with their blood group, so that a mapping of geographical areas where there are fewer low use groups can be done. Thus, collection brigades can be organized more efficiently, allocating fewer resources to obtain the same number of donations.
